## About the Job We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ranch & Barn Manager to lead the care and management of our 55-horse herd and maintain all equine facilities. Circle F Dude Ranch Camp has been operating for 74 years, where horses, nature, and youth development come together. ## Responsibilities • Daily feeding, turnout, grooming, and care for all ranch horses • Monitor horse health and behavior; coordinate veterinary, dental, and farrier care • Maintain accurate equine records • Assist with evaluating horse temperament and suitability for guest riding • Support riding programs, trail rides, and lessons by preparing horses and tack • Ensure all equine activities prioritize safety and guest enjoyment ## Requirements This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for someone who understands the level of attention, consistency, and care required to manage a barn. We care deeply about our horses and our guests. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** • 5+ years experience managing horse care and facilities • Confidence handling a variety of horses • Comfortable interacting with guests of all ages and experience levels • Knowledge of equine health, barn operations, and facility upkeep • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions • Valid driver’s license; tractor or equipment experience preferred ## Pay and Benefits On-site housing available for the right candidate planning to relocate • Competitive compensation based on experience starting at $40,000 per year • Paid Time Off • Meals provided during programming days
